Amita attended the University of Windsor for drama and as she pursued this dream another one came across her path. Her first event was a favour for a friend, but she quickly realized that it was no different then acting, she was just telling a different story.  The actors were called guests, camera and lights was A/V, wardrobe was called dress code and the director was called the event planner and that is how her new love started.  Amita has since done weddings, charity gala’s, team building, trade shows and the list goes on!  She has worked at some of Toronto’s top venues and planned events for TIFF, Porsche and even some Hollywood celebrities!
